The ROTOR CLIP HO-125SS MPS is a stainless steel internal snap retaining ring designed for a 1.25-inch bore diameter. It provides a positive axial stop for shaft-mounted components inside a housing bore, securing parts against thrust loads without additional fasteners. Manufactured from 15-7 grade 632 stainless steel with a Rockwell C hardness of 44 to 51, it carries a groove safety factor thrust load of 4,250 pounds and a ring safety factor of 8,932 pounds. Ring thickness is 0.05 inches (1.27 mm) and groove width is 0.056 inches (1.42 mm). It meets Military Specification and AMS-5529 requirements, making it appropriate for demanding industrial and defense-grade applications.

This retaining ring is suited for use in hydraulic assemblies, pneumatic cylinders, gearboxes, pumps, and precision mechanical subassemblies where a corrosion-resistant internal ring is required. Installation Notes

Internal snap retaining rings require internal snap ring pliers sized for the bore diameter. Power down and de-energize all equipment before disassembly. Confirm groove dimensions match the ring specifications before installation to prevent ring ejection under load. Do not over-compress the ring during installation, as permanent deformation will reduce load capacity.
