The ROTOR CLIP HO-125SS B100 is a stainless steel internal snap retaining ring designed to seat in a machined groove inside a bored housing or bore diameter, securing components against axial movement. Manufactured from 15-7 Grade 632 stainless steel with a Rockwell C hardness rating of 44 to 51, this ring delivers strong corrosion resistance alongside high load capacity. The bore diameter is 1.25 inches, with a free outer diameter of 1.388 inches and a ring thickness of 0.05 inches. It is installed and serviced by maintenance technicians, mechanical assemblers, and field service professionals working on precision mechanical assemblies.
This internal retaining ring is suited for use in housings and bores across a range of industrial and mechanical assemblies where axial retention is required. Typical applications include pump assemblies, gearboxes, motors, and similar rotating or reciprocating equipment requiring a reliable internal groove-mounted retaining solution. Its stainless steel construction makes it appropriate for environments with exposure to moisture, mild chemicals, or sanitary process requirements. It is sold individually per package with a minimum order of two units.
Designed as an OEM-style internal snap retaining ring for bores with a nominal diameter of 1.25 inches, compatible with grooves meeting the specified groove width and depth dimensions provided by ROTOR CLIP for the HO series.
Internal snap retaining rings are installed by mechanical technicians using internal snap ring pliers sized for the bore diameter. Always relieve system pressure, de-energize connected equipment, and ensure the bore and groove are clean and free of burrs before installation. Do not over-expand the ring during installation, as this can compromise its load capacity and dimensional integrity. Follow applicable machinery safety standards and the equipment manufacturer's service procedures when servicing assemblies containing retaining rings.
