The ROTOR CLIP E-87SS B100 is an external E style retaining ring designed to seat in a groove on a shaft and provide positive axial retention without the need for threading, clamping, or adhesive. Manufactured from 15-7 grade 632 stainless steel (AMS-5529, UNS S15700), this ring is suited for applications requiring corrosion resistance and elevated hardness. It fits a 7/8 inch (0.875 inch) shaft diameter with a groove diameter of 0.675 inches and a ring thickness of 0.05 inches. Hardness is rated at 37-43 HRC. The three-prong E style design allows for tool-free or plier-assisted installation from the side of the shaft, which is useful in confined assemblies where snap ring pliers cannot access the shaft end.

This retaining ring is used across industrial, mechanical, and trade equipment assemblies wherever a 7/8 inch shaft requires external retention in a standard E style groove.
