The ROTOR CLIP E-75ST MCD is an external E style retaining ring designed for 3/4-inch shaft diameters. It seats in a machined groove on the outside of a shaft to provide axial retention of components such as bearings, gears, and pulleys. Manufactured from SAE 1060-1090 stainless steel (UNS G10600-G10900) with a cadmium finish, it offers corrosion resistance and a hardness rating of 37-43 HRC. The three-prong E style design allows for tool-free or plier-assisted installation without requiring shaft disassembly. This part is used by mechanical technicians, maintenance professionals, and assembly line workers in HVAC, pump, and motor applications.
The E-75ST MCD fits applications requiring a 3/4-inch shaft diameter with a groove diameter of 0.58 inches and a groove width of 0.056 inches. Its compact ring thickness of 0.05 inches and 1.12-inch free outside diameter make it suitable for tight-clearance shaft assemblies in residential and light commercial HVAC equipment, pump motors, and rotating mechanical assemblies. It meets Military Specification MS 16633-1075 and ISO 13485:2015, making it appropriate for applications where documented compliance is required. This ring is sold individually but carries a minimum order quantity of 100 units.
Designed as an OEM-style external retaining ring replacement for shafts with a 3/4-inch diameter and a groove diameter of 0.58 inches, consistent with MS 16633-1075 specification requirements.
Installation and removal of E style retaining rings is typically performed by mechanical technicians using retaining ring pliers or a flat-blade tool. Always de-energize and lock out the equipment before servicing any rotating assembly. Confirm groove dimensions match the ring specifications before installation to avoid axial play or ring ejection under load. Do not reuse a ring that has been visibly deformed or over-expanded during removal.
