The ring seats in a precision groove and provides axial retention of components on shafts and spindles. Manufactured from SAE 1060-1090 steel with a phosphate finish, it delivers reliable corrosion resistance in light-duty mechanical assemblies. Ring thickness is 0.010 inches, groove diameter is 0.052 inches, and free outside diameter is 0.156 inches. A 3-prong design holds the ring in place during assembly. The E-6ST PA B100 is suited for small-shaft assemblies where a compact, external groove retaining solution is required.
