It fits a 5/32 inch (0.1563 inch decimal) shaft diameter and seats in a groove with a 0.116 inch diameter. Manufactured from SAE 1060-1090 carbon steel and finished with a yellow zinc dichromate coating for corrosion resistance, this ring measures 0.025 inches thick and features a three-prong design for positive retention. It is installed by maintenance technicians, machinists, and assembly professionals working on small mechanical assemblies, instrumentation, and light-duty fastening applications.
