The ROTOR CLIP DE-1.9ST PDB100 is an external E style retaining ring designed to secure components on small-diameter shafts without the need for threading or welding. Manufactured from 1060-1090 spring steel with a phosphate and oil finish, this ring seats into a precision groove to provide reliable axial retention. With a nominal groove diameter of 1.9 mm and a ring thickness of 0.50 mm, it is engineered for metric applications where compact fastening is critical. The three-prong design allows for fast installation and removal using standard retaining ring pliers. It is used by mechanical assemblers, maintenance technicians, and precision equipment manufacturers.
This retaining ring is suited for light-duty shaft assemblies in appliances, motors, instruments, and precision mechanical devices. The phosphate and oil finish provides a baseline level of corrosion resistance appropriate for indoor and controlled-environment applications. The ring fits shafts ranging from 2.5 mm to 3.0 mm in diameter and is sized to seat in a 1.9 mm groove. It conforms to DIN 6799 and SAE 1060-1090 standards, as well as ISO 13485:2015, making it appropriate for applications where dimensional traceability is required. Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard-stock retaining ring for metric shaft assemblies requiring a DIN 6799 compliant external E style ring with a 1.9 mm groove diameter and a shaft diameter range of 2.5 mm to 3.0 mm.
Installation and removal should be performed by a qualified mechanical technician using retaining ring pliers sized for E style rings. Ensure the shaft groove is free of burrs and within the specified groove width tolerance of 0.00 mm to 0.05 mm before seating the ring. Always de-energize and lock out any equipment before servicing shaft-mounted components. Do not over-spread the ring during installation, as permanent deformation will compromise retention force.
