Product Description

The ROMAC 268-112031 is a 10-inch wide range restrained end cap designed to seal plain-end pipe for testing, blow-off, or line flushing operations, and is equally suited for permanent pipe end sealing applications. Cast components including end rings, center ring, and bolt guides are ductile iron meeting ASTM A-536, grade 65-45-12. Fasteners are 304 stainless steel. The cap accommodates up to 4 degrees of deflection, making it adaptable to field conditions. A Romacote fusion bonded epoxy coating provides corrosion resistance. Rubber gaskets are SBR compounded for water and sewer service or NBR as required, both certified to NSF 61. Licensed plumbers and waterworks contractors are the primary installers.

This end cap covers a wide pipe outside-diameter range spanning IPS PVC through cast iron pipe, making it practical across mixed-material infrastructure.
