The Robertshaw RTXVCV-5S-4 Ranco CV series thermostatic expansion valve (TXV) is effective for refrigerant management in HVAC systems. This TXV eliminates the need for a separate check valve. It adjusts refrigerant flow based on evaporator superheat information gathered from a thermal sensing bulb and external balance. It operates with R-410A refrigerant and withstands a maximum working pressure of six hundred sixty-seven PSI.
