The ROBBJACK C07-0350-08-20 is a solid carbide slitting and slotting saw designed for precision cutting in ferrous and hard-to-machine materials. With a 0.75-inch blade diameter and a 0.035-inch blade thickness, it delivers tight, accurate slots and kerfs in demanding production environments. The 20-tooth, straight-tooth configuration paired with a 5-degree rake angle promotes clean chip evacuation and consistent cutting action. The concave-ground geometry reduces side friction during plunge and slotting operations. The bright, uncoated finish is standard for carbide tools used where coating interaction with the workpiece material is a concern. Machining professionals, toolroom operators, and CNC programmers install and use this saw on milling machines and machining centers.
This saw is suited for slotting and slitting operations on cast iron, stainless steel, carbon and alloy steel, super alloys, and titanium. It is an arbor-mounted tool used in horizontal and vertical milling setups where thin, precise slots are required. The solid carbide construction makes it appropriate for high-speed, rigid machine setups where consistent dimensional accuracy across a production run is required. Typical applications include keyway cutting, part-off operations, and precision slotting in aerospace, industrial, and general machining environments.
Designed as an arbor-mount slitting saw for use on standard milling machines and CNC machining centers that accept arbor-style saw mandrels. Compatible material applications include cast iron, stainless steel, steel, super alloys, and titanium as stated by the manufacturer.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or toolroom personnel. The saw must be mounted on a properly sized arbor with appropriate spacers and a locking nut torqued per the arbor manufacturer's specification. Confirm machine spindle is fully de-energized and locked out before mounting or removing the saw. Inspect the blade for chips or cracks before each use and never exceed the recommended surface footage for solid carbide in the material being cut.
