The RIVETKING ABS68-610RTP250 is a dome head blind rivet designed for one-sided fastening applications where access to the back of the joint is not available. The aluminum body and steel mandrel construction provide a reliable, corrosion-resistant fastener suitable for sheet metal, HVAC ductwork, electrical enclosures, and general fabrication. The 3/16-inch body diameter fits holes ranging from 0.192 to 0.196 inches and handles grip ranges from 0.500 to 0.670 inches. With a tensile strength of 486 pounds and a shear strength of 331 pounds, this rivet delivers dependable holding power for light- to medium-duty structural and non-structural connections. Each package contains 250 rivets.
This rivet is suited for residential and commercial installation work involving thin-gauge materials. Common applications include HVAC duct assembly, electrical panel fabrication, metal framing, gutters, and general sheet metal work. The dome head profile sits flush above the material surface and distributes clamping load evenly. Installers working in tight spaces benefit from the blind-side installation method, which requires access to only one face of the workpiece. The 250-count pack is appropriate for production runs or job-site stock.
Designed for use with standard blind rivet tools accepting 3/16-inch body diameter rivets. Intended for light- to medium-gauge aluminum, steel, and similar sheet materials requiring one-sided fastening.
Installation requires a hand, pneumatic, or battery-powered blind rivet tool sized for 3/16-inch rivets. Drill the pilot hole to a diameter between 0.192 and 0.196 inches before setting the rivet. Insert the rivet body fully into the hole before actuating the tool to ensure proper mandrel break and flange formation. Discard spent mandrels safely and inspect the set head for complete seating after installation.
