The RIVETKING ABS64CE/P100 is a closed end sealing blind rivet designed for fastening applications that require a water-resistant or airtight joint. The closed end design prevents liquids, gases, and debris from passing through the rivet body after installation. It features an aluminum body with a steel mandrel, delivering a reliable break-load without corroding the base material. The dome head profile sits flush against the work surface and distributes clamping load evenly. With a grip range of 0.126 to 0.25 inches and a body diameter of 0.1875 inches, this rivet suits thin-to-medium material stacks common in sheet metal, HVAC ductwork, and enclosure fabrication. Each package contains 100 rivets.
This rivet is used in residential and light commercial applications where a sealed fastener is required. Typical install scenarios include HVAC sheet metal ductwork, electrical enclosures, plumbing access panels, and other assemblies where the blind side is inaccessible after joining. The aluminum body makes it suitable for use with aluminum, steel, and similar sheet stock. It is installed by trade mechanics, sheet metal workers, and plumbers working on enclosures and access covers. The size 6-4 designation indicates a 3/16-inch body diameter with a grip range appropriate for material stacks up to 1/4 inch thick.
Designed as an OEM-style blind rivet replacement for size 6-4 closed end sealing rivet applications in sheet metal, ductwork, and enclosure assembly work.
Install with a standard hand or pneumatic rivet tool fitted with a 3/16-inch nosepiece. Verify the material stack thickness falls within the 0.126 to 0.25-inch grip range before driving the rivet. De-energize or lock out any associated electrical or mechanical system before fastening panels or enclosures. Do not reuse pulled rivets; inspect the set head on the blind side where accessible to confirm full flange formation.
