The RIVETKING ABL0630/P250 is a tri folding blind rivet with a dome head, aluminum body, and aluminum mandrel, sold in a 250-piece package. It is engineered for applications where only one side of the workpiece is accessible. The 3/16 inch body diameter fits holes ranging from 0.196 to 0.209 inches and accommodates grip ranges from 0.157 to 0.472 inches. With a tensile strength of 269 pounds and shear strength of 202 pounds, this rivet provides reliable holding power across a range of material thicknesses. The bright finish aluminum construction keeps weight low while resisting corrosion in typical indoor and light industrial environments. HVAC fabricators, sheet metal workers, electricians, and general contractors install these fasteners using a standard blind rivet tool.
This rivet is suited for light-to-medium duty fastening tasks in sheet metal assemblies, ductwork fabrication, electrical enclosures, panel mounting, and general construction applications. The tri folding design expands behind the workpiece to distribute clamping load over a wider back-face area, making it effective in softer or thinner base materials where a standard rivet might pull through. The 1.07 inch length under head and 0.157 to 0.472 inch grip range make it versatile across common sheet stock thicknesses encountered in trade work.
Designed for use with standard 3/16 inch blind rivet installation tools. Fits pre-drilled holes of 0.196 to 0.209 inches in diameter across aluminum, sheet steel, fiberglass, and similar substrates common in HVAC, electrical, and light construction applications.
Installation requires a hand-operated or pneumatic blind rivet tool sized for 3/16 inch rivets. Drill the workpiece to a hole diameter between 0.196 and 0.209 inches before setting. Ensure material stack thickness falls within the 0.157 to 0.472 inch grip range to achieve a proper set and full mandrel break. Mandrel stems should be collected and disposed of properly after setting to prevent debris from entering ductwork or enclosures.
