The RIVETKING 37C2IKFAP/P25 is an aluminum countersunk head rivet nut designed to install a 3/8-16 threaded insert into thin-gauge base materials where welding or tapping is not practical. The uncoated aluminum body collapses evenly during setting, locking into the parent material and providing a flush, load-bearing threaded anchor. Grip range runs from 0.15 inches to 0.312 inches, making this insert suitable for a range of sheet and plate thicknesses. Each package contains 25 rivet nuts. This fastener is installed by HVAC fabricators, sheet-metal contractors, electricians, and general tradespeople working with enclosures, panels, and structural assemblies.
Countersunk rivet nuts are used where a flush installed profile is required on the visible face of a panel. Typical applications include electrical enclosure fabrication, HVAC equipment housings, pool equipment mounting panels, aluminum structural assemblies, and any sheet-metal application requiring a removable threaded connection. The 3/8-16 thread accepts standard UNC fasteners, making hardware interchange straightforward. The 17/32 inch drill size is required in the base material prior to installation. The uncoated finish is suited for dry or protected indoor environments.
Designed for use in base materials requiring a 17/32 inch drilled hole. Compatible with standard 3/8-16 UNC threaded fasteners. Suitable for aluminum sheet, steel sheet, and panel assemblies within the 0.15 inch to 0.312 inch grip range.
Installation requires a rivet nut tool or mandrel-type setting tool sized for 3/8-16 inserts. Drill the base material to 17/32 inch before setting. Verify material thickness falls within the 0.15 inch to 0.312 inch grip range to ensure full clinch and thread engagement. Do not overtorque fasteners threaded into aluminum rivet nuts, as the internal thread can strip under excessive load.
