The RIVETKING. 12N100RC8AP/1100 is a countersunk aluminum solid rivet designed for permanent mechanical fastening in sheet metal, structural panel, and general fabrication applications. With a body diameter of 0.125 inches and a length under head of 1 inch, this rivet is sized for light- to medium-gauge material stacks. The 78-degree countersunk head angle allows the installed rivet to sit flush with the surface, reducing snag points and maintaining a clean profile. The 1100-series aluminum construction provides adequate shear strength for non-structural and semi-structural joints where corrosion resistance and light weight matter. Fabricators, sheet metal workers, and maintenance technicians install this type of rivet using a standard rivet set and bucking bar.
This solid rivet is suited for residential and commercial sheet metal work, HVAC ductwork fabrication, equipment enclosures, and general-purpose panel assembly. The flush countersunk head makes it a common choice wherever a smooth finished surface is required on visible or mating faces. It is appropriate for use in assemblies where blind access is available from both sides, as solid rivets require back-side bucking during installation. The 1100-series aluminum grade is well-suited to environments where mild corrosion resistance is needed without the weight penalty of steel fasteners.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard-stock solid rivet for countersunk aluminum rivet applications in sheet metal fabrication, ductwork assembly, and general mechanical fastening tasks.
Solid rivets are installed by licensed sheet metal workers and general fabricators using a rivet set, bucking bar, and pneumatic or hand hammer. Always ensure access to the back side of the joint before selecting a solid rivet over a blind rivet. Drill the pilot hole to the appropriate diameter for a 0.125-inch body rivet per applicable fastener standards before driving. De-energize or lock out any equipment before fastening into live assemblies.
