The RIVETKING 10C1ISRSZ/P50 is a zinc-plated, steel knurled rivet nut insert threaded to the 10-24 UNC standard. Rivet nut inserts install into pre-drilled holes to create a threaded anchor point in thin-sheet base materials where a standard nut cannot be used on the back side. The knurled body resists spinning during and after installation. This fastener has a body length of 0.37 inches and accepts a grip range of 0.297 inches to 0.302 inches. It is sold in a package of 50. Electricians, HVAC sheet-metal technicians, plumbers, and general mechanical contractors use rivet nut inserts when fastening panels, brackets, and access covers to thin-gauge steel or aluminum.
This insert is suited to light commercial and residential applications where a permanent, load-bearing threaded connection is needed in sheet metal, tubing, or composite panels. The 9/32-inch drill size makes hole preparation straightforward with standard drill bits. The zinc-plated finish provides basic corrosion resistance appropriate for interior and sheltered installations. Technicians commonly reach for this size when securing control-panel covers, electrical enclosures, HVAC chassis components, and plumbing access panels.
Designed as an OEM-style rivet nut insert for use in 10-24 UNC threaded applications in thin-sheet steel, aluminum, and composite panels within the specified grip range.
Installation requires a rivet nut setting tool sized for the 10-24 thread and matched to the body diameter. Drill the base material to 9/32 inch and deburr the hole before inserting the fastener. Confirm the material thickness falls within the 0.297-inch to 0.302-inch grip range before setting to avoid under-set or over-set conditions. Power down any electrical enclosure or de-energize any system before drilling or installing fasteners into live panels.
