This alloy features a wide melting range, making it effective for filling loose connections and enhancing finished joints. It effectively penetrates tight connections when heated above its liquidus temperature. While primarily used for copper, it can also braze brass with caution to avoid overheating. This alloy is not suitable for brazing steel or any ferrous metals.
