The RH PETERSON CDR-24 is a 24-inch Coastal Driftwood replacement log set designed for use with vented gas burners in residential gas fireplaces. The set includes 4 hand-crafted refractory ceramic logs, each modeled from real driftwood samples and hand painted for a realistic appearance. Reinforced steel rods are embedded in each log to resist chipping and breaking during normal use. This is a logs-only product and requires a separately sourced vented burner and valve kit for operation. A licensed gas appliance technician should handle all installation and gas line work.
This log set is intended for residential vented gas fireplace applications. It is not compatible with vent-free or unvented burner systems. The CDR-24 requires a certified vented burner and valve kit. Compatible burner options include the Peterson G4, G45, and G46 series. The complete vented Coastal Driftwood log set package, which includes burner and valve options, is also available separately. Do not install this log set on any burner system that is not specifically certified for use with this product.
Compatible with the Peterson G4, G45, and G46 vented burner series. This log set is certified for use with specific vented burners only and is not a universal replacement. Using this log set with a non-certified burner creates serious risk of fire, carbon monoxide poisoning, and property damage. Verify burner certification before installation.
Installation must be performed by a qualified gas appliance technician in accordance with local codes and the appliance manufacturer's instructions. Shut off the gas supply completely before servicing any components of the burner or log set. This product requires a vented burner system — do not attempt to use with a vent-free or unvented burner. Follow the certified burner manufacturer's log placement diagram exactly, as improper positioning can affect combustion performance and safety.
