The RESIDEO ythx1200b8/u is a smart thermostat with an integrated Equipment Interface Module (EIM) designed for residential and light commercial 24-volt HVAC applications. It features a 5-inch customizable touchscreen with display-selectable language support for English, French, and Spanish. An onboard radar sensor enables presence-based smart away programming for improved energy efficiency. The thermostat supports IAQ monitoring and control, video doorbell integration with VX1 or Ring devices, and connects via WiFi and RedLINK 3.0. It is ENERGY STAR certified and requires a C-wire hardwired power supply. Licensed HVAC technicians are the typical installing trade for this device.

This thermostat is suited for gas, oil, electric warm air, hydronic, fan coil unit, and PTAC systems. It supports up to 4 heat and 2 cool stages for heat pump systems or up to 3 heat and 3 cool stages for conventional systems, along with up to 3 fan speeds for fan coil units. Operating modes include Heat, Cool, Auto, Off, and Emergency Heat. The unit operates in ambient temperatures between 37 degrees F and 102 degrees F and relative humidity between 5 percent RH and 90 percent RH. Compatible room sensor: C7189R3010-2.

Installation Notes
