The REHAU 235351-113 is a 1/2-inch RAUPEX UV Shield PEXa pipe supplied in a 100-foot coil. It is manufactured using REHAU's high-pressure peroxide crosslinking method, which produces a true PEXa molecular structure throughout the pipe wall. A co-extruded polyethylene shield is bonded to the exterior, providing protection against ultraviolet light exposure for up to one year. This pipe is intended for use in hydronic and potable water systems where temporary outdoor exposure during installation or staging is a concern.
