The REGO-FIX 7113.20000 is a spanner-style collet chuck wrench designed for use with ER20 mini nuts in ER collet clamping systems. This wrench provides the secure engagement needed to properly torque ER mini nuts during toolholder setup and changeover. It is a dedicated hand tool intended for machinists, toolroom technicians, and CNC setup personnel working with ER20 collet chucks on milling machines, machining centers, and similar equipment. Using the correct spanner wrench helps ensure consistent clamping force and protects the nut and collet from damage caused by improvised tools.
This wrench is suited for shop environments where ER20 collet systems are in regular use. It applies specifically to ER mini nut configurations, which have a lower-profile design compared to standard ER nuts and require a matching spanner profile for proper engagement. It is a standard bench and machine-side hand tool for production and toolroom applications alike.
Designed for use with ER20 mini nuts in ER20 collet chuck assemblies.
Tool changes involving collet chuck systems should be performed with the machine spindle fully stopped and the machine in a locked-out state per standard LOTO procedures. Use only the correct spanner wrench profile for the nut type and collet series to avoid rounding the nut engagement slots. Do not use pipe extensions or cheater bars on collet wrenches, as excessive torque can deform the nut or damage the collet taper. Refer to the toolholder manufacturer torque specifications for the appropriate clamping values.
