The RECTORSEAL M21833 is a gray polypropylene condensate drain pan designed to collect and contain condensate from air handling units, fan coils, and other HVAC equipment. Known in the trade as the MARS POLARPAN line, this pan measures 64 inches by 32 inches, making it suited for large commercial or industrial air handlers where standard-size pans fall short. HVAC technicians and mechanical contractors install these pans beneath cooling coils and evaporator sections to prevent water damage to equipment and building structures. The durable gray finish resists corrosion and biological growth common in wet condensate environments.
This drain pan is applied in commercial and light-industrial HVAC installations where oversized or custom-footprint air handling units require reliable secondary condensate containment. It is commonly specified during new equipment installation or as a replacement when an existing pan shows cracks, warping, or heavy scale buildup. The large footprint accommodates wide coil sections and reduces the need for field-fabricated pans on large-tonnage systems.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation condensate drain pan for large commercial air handling units and fan coil systems requiring a 64 x 32 inch pan footprint.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed HVAC technician or mechanical contractor. Shut down and de-energize the air handling unit completely before removing or installing any drain pan. Verify that condensate drain lines are properly pitched and connected to a code-compliant drain per local mechanical codes before returning the unit to service. Do not overtighten any fasteners against the polypropylene material, as cracking can result.
