Product Description

The Rectorseal 25431 is a soft-set, slow-drying pipe thread sealant designed for use on threaded pipe connections in plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical piping systems. Supplied in a 1-pint container, it can be pressurized immediately after application on piping up to 2 inches in diameter at pressures up to 100 psi. The slow-cure formulation allows for repositioning of fittings after assembly, making it well suited for tight spaces or assemblies that require fine adjustment before the sealant fully cures. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and HVAC technicians are the primary installers.

This sealant is recommended for threaded connections on galvanized steel, iron, brass, copper, aluminum, stainless steel, polyethylene, and fiberglass-reinforced PVC pipe.
