The RAM BOARD RBHE36-50 is a temporary floor protection roll designed for jobsite and residential use during construction, renovation, and finishing work. It measures 36 inches wide and 50 feet long, offering a lighter and more compact format than the standard Ram Board product while delivering the same core protection technologies. The roll features Spill Guard Technology for extreme liquid holdout, Vapor-cure Technology that allows curing floors to breathe underneath the protection layer, and Wall-Guard Technology for vertical surface applications. Flooring installers, painters, and general contractors install this product to protect finished or curing floors from foot traffic, spills, and debris.
The RBHE36-50 Home Edition is suited for residential projects and light commercial renovation work where floor surfaces need temporary protection during active construction phases. It is reusable, making it practical across multiple stages of a project. It is best paired with Ram Board Seam Tape when covering wide floor areas that require overlapping sections, and with Ram Board Edge Tape to anchor the material securely to the floor surface. Typical applications include protecting hardwood, tile, concrete, and other finish flooring during painting, drywall, trim, and cabinetry work.
Designed as a temporary surface protection solution for use over finished or curing flooring in residential and light commercial construction and renovation applications.
General contractors, flooring installers, and painters typically install temporary floor protection as one of the first steps after finish surfaces are laid. Lay the roll flat over the floor surface and use Ram Board Edge Tape to secure edges and prevent shifting. When covering large areas, butt sections together and seal seams with Ram Board Seam Tape to maintain continuous liquid holdout. Remove the protection carefully after work is complete to avoid dragging debris across the finished surface.
