The RAINDRIP INC R612CT is a 2-pack of 1/4 inch barbed valves designed to adjust, balance, or shut off water flow in low-volume drip and micro-irrigation systems. Each valve connects to 1/4 inch rigid poly risers with an outer diameter range of 0.160 inches to 0.197 inches and is rated for water pressure up to 60 psi. These valves are installed by irrigation technicians and knowledgeable DIYers to provide individual zone or plant-level flow control without requiring additional fittings or tools beyond basic hand assembly. The barbed connection design locks onto compatible tubing securely under working pressure.
The R612CT valves are suited for residential and light commercial drip irrigation layouts where independent circuit control is needed at the emitter or riser level. Typical applications include vegetable gardens, landscape beds, container plantings, and any drip zone requiring per-plant flow balancing. Each valve in the 2-pack functions independently, allowing technicians to fine-tune flow rates across multiple watering points on a single supply line. These valves are compatible with rigid poly riser tubing only and are not intended for use with flexible poly supply tubing.
Designed for use with 1/4 inch rigid poly risers with an outer diameter of 0.160 inches to 0.197 inches. Not compatible with flexible poly supply tubing. Suitable for drip irrigation systems operating at water pressures up to 60 psi.
Irrigation technicians or experienced DIYers can install these valves by pressing the barbed fitting firmly onto a compatible rigid poly riser until fully seated. Shut off the water supply and relieve system pressure before making any connections or adjustments. Do not exceed the 60 psi pressure rating, as over-pressurization can cause fitting failure or leaks. Inspect barbed connections after initial pressurization to confirm a leak-free seal.
