The RAIN BIRD x66010 is a 180-degree adjustable micro-spray head from the Xeri-Spray Series, designed for low-volume drip and micro-irrigation systems. It delivers a half-circle spray pattern across an operating radius of 0 to 10.6 feet, with a flow rate of 0 to 31 gallons per hour (GPH). Operating pressure range is 10 to 30 psi, making it compatible with standard low-pressure drip zones. The 10-32 UNF threaded connection fits directly onto common micro-irrigation risers and distribution tubing. The body is constructed from black plastic, built for UV exposure in outdoor irrigation installations. Licensed irrigation contractors and landscape professionals install this type of emitter during drip system layout or retrofit work.
The x66010 is suited for residential and light commercial landscape irrigation, particularly in water-efficient or Xeriscape-style plantings where targeted, low-volume delivery is preferred over conventional rotary or fixed spray heads. The half-circle pattern makes it appropriate for bed edges, borders, and areas where full-circle coverage is not needed. It is installed on micro-tubing stakes or risers fed by a drip zone valve, allowing precise placement around shrubs, groundcover, and individual plants.
Designed as an OEM-style component for Rain Bird Xeri-Spray Series micro-irrigation systems using 10-32 UNF threaded risers or stakes.
Installation is typically performed by licensed irrigation contractors or qualified landscape professionals. Shut off the irrigation zone valve and relieve system pressure before threading the emitter onto the riser. Hand-tighten the 10-32 UNF connection to avoid stripping the plastic threads. Verify operating pressure at the zone does not exceed 30 psi; use a pressure-reducing valve upstream if needed to protect emitter performance and prevent misting.
