Product Description

The RAIN BIRD dpuv4ehub is a pop-up drainage relief valve designed to manage hydrostatic pressure at the discharge end of a drainage pipe. Normally closed, the valve cap rises automatically when pressure builds inside the drainage line, releasing excess water. Once discharge is complete, a stainless steel spring retracts the cover flush with the surrounding surface. The unit ships with a 4-inch PVC elbow and hub fitting adapter, making it a complete drain-end assembly. It is manufactured from structurally foamed High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) with a UV inhibitor to limit sun damage over extended outdoor exposure.

This valve is used at the terminal end of residential and light commercial drainage systems, including French drains, area drains, and subsurface drainage runs. Because the cover retracts to a flush position when not in service, it integrates cleanly into turf, hardscape, or landscape beds without creating a significant surface obstruction.
