The Radio Design Labs AV-XMN4 is a microphone to network interface designed for converting four XLR microphone inputs into Dante network audio channels. There is no special software required for its configuration. Each XLR input has a gain switch for dynamic or condenser microphones, and it features a dual-LED VU meter to show the level for each input, assisting in selecting the correct gain range. The AV-XMN4 supplies P48 phantom power to each input, ensuring high-quality audio capture.
This device is equipped to operate from both a PoE-enabled network switch and an external twenty-four VDC power supply. It automatically switches from external power to PoE if necessary. A green LED indicates valid power and network synchronization. Built in a durable all-metal enclosure, the AV-XMN4 is suitable for stage use, studio applications, or fixed installations. Mounting brackets are included to facilitate fixed installations, with protection against accidental damage to the front panel slide switches.
