Product Description

The RACO 523 is a gangable steel switch box with a 12.5 cu. in. capacity. Designed to house wiring devices such as switches or outlets, it can be combined for multiple device installations. It features armored cable, metal clad, and flex cable clamps for secure wire management. Acceptable for use in 2-hour fire rated walls.

• BX clamps provided for steel & alum armored cable, MCI cable, MCI-A cable, and flexible conduit
• Gangable switch boxes offer the option of constructing a box to hold two or more devices
• Supplied with one 1/2 in. knockout
