The RAB LIGHTING GD100DG is a die-cast aluminum guard designed for use with 100 Series vaporproof light fixtures. Its one-piece cylindrical construction features a closed end and a distinctive flat bottom, providing durable mechanical protection for the fixture globe in demanding wet location environments. A set screw locks the guard firmly in place, while machined threads ensure a smooth fit on vaporproof fixture housings. The captive clamping screw is retained in the casting and will not fall out during installation or maintenance. A threaded aluminum ring secures the reflector to the fixture. Licensed electricians and maintenance technicians install this guard in industrial, commercial, and utility wet location applications.

This guard is rated for wet location use and is UL listed. It is designed for installation on RAB 100 Series vaporproof light fixtures in environments where moisture, washdown conditions, or outdoor exposure require a fully enclosed, rugged fixture assembly.
