The QUIKTRON 570-130-025 is a 25-foot Cat5e patch cable designed for structured cabling installations in commercial and residential network environments. This cable features a snagless boot that protects the RJ45 latch during installation and removal, reducing connector damage in dense patch panel environments. Rated CM (Communications Multipurpose), it meets the minimum requirements for in-wall and general-purpose horizontal runs. Network technicians and low-voltage installers use this cable to connect switches, routers, patch panels, and end devices in ethernet-based data networks.
This patch cable is suited for 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, and 1000BASE-T (Gigabit Ethernet) applications. The red jacket color aids in cable identification and color-coded management schemes in server rooms, telecom closets, and office data installations. At 25 feet, it is a practical length for intermediate-distance patch runs between equipment racks or from a wall plate to a workstation.
Designed as a standard Cat5e patch cable compatible with RJ45 ports on switches, routers, patch panels, and network interface cards in ethernet-based structured cabling systems.
Installation is performed by low-voltage technicians and network cabling professionals. Ensure both termination points are powered down or that hot-swap procedures are followed per site policy before connecting or disconnecting live network equipment. Route the cable away from high-voltage conduit and fluorescent lighting to minimize electromagnetic interference. Follow TIA-568 bend radius and pulling tension guidelines when routing through conduit or cable trays.
