The QUIKTRON 570-115-075 is a 75-foot Category 5e (Cat5e) patch cable finished in yellow with a snagless boot design and CM (Communications Multipurpose) jacket rating. It is used to establish structured network connections between switches, patch panels, routers, and end devices. The snagless boot protects the RJ45 locking tab during installation and cable management, reducing connector damage in high-density environments. Electricians, low-voltage technicians, and network installers use this cable in both commercial and residential structured wiring projects.
This cable is suited for horizontal runs and equipment connections in telecommunications rooms, server closets, and office environments. At 75 feet, it covers longer cross-connects and patch bay-to-device runs that shorter cables cannot reach. The CM jacket rating qualifies it for in-wall and general-purpose use in commercial spaces where a basic communications cable rating meets the local code requirement. It supports standard 10/100/1000BASE-T Ethernet applications.
Designed as a standard Cat5e patch cable compatible with RJ45 ports on network switches, routers, patch panels, and wall jacks conforming to T568A or T568B wiring standards.
Low-voltage technicians and electricians install structured cabling under ANSI/TIA-568 standards and applicable local codes. Avoid sharp bends below the minimum bend radius and do not cinch cable ties so tightly that the jacket deforms, as this degrades signal performance. Route away from high-voltage conduit and fluorescent ballasts to minimize interference. No power shutdown is required for patch cable installation, but confirm the port is not carrying active PoE current before disconnecting a live device.
