The QUIKRETE COMPANIES 8620-30 is a two-component, high-modulus, non-sag structural epoxy designed for fast anchoring applications in both vertical and horizontal orientations. Supplied in an 8.6 oz tube format, this gray epoxy is solvent free and low odor, making it suitable for use in occupied or enclosed spaces. It delivers high-strength, moisture-insensitive bonding with a working time of 4 to 5 minutes and is formulated to set even in sub-freezing temperatures. Licensed contractors, concrete specialists, and structural tradespeople rely on this product for anchoring bolts, rebar, and threaded rod into concrete and masonry.
This epoxy is suited for residential and commercial anchoring tasks where a fast-curing, structurally reliable bond is required. Typical applications include setting anchor bolts, dowels, and threaded fasteners into concrete, block, or brick substrates. The non-sag formula holds position on vertical surfaces without slumping during the cure window, and the moisture-insensitive chemistry allows use on damp or cold substrates where conventional adhesives may fail. It is packaged in a dual-cartridge tube for use with a standard dispensing gun.
Designed as an OEM-style anchoring epoxy for use in concrete, block, and masonry substrates where bolt, rebar, or threaded-rod anchoring is required.
Installation should be performed by a qualified contractor or tradesperson familiar with structural anchoring procedures. Before dispensing, ensure the hole is properly drilled, blown clean of dust, and free of standing water per standard anchoring practice. Follow all applicable building codes and manufacturer mixing ratio requirements when dispensing the two-component cartridge with a compatible dispensing gun. Allow full cure before applying load to the anchor.
