The QUANTUM STORAGE SYSTEMS WR12-108BK is a 12-shelf chrome wire shelving unit bundled with 44 economy shelf bins in black. The unit stands 74 inches tall, spans 36 inches wide, and runs 18 inches deep, making it a high-density storage solution for parts rooms, stockrooms, retail back-of-house areas, and supply facilities. Each chrome wire shelf is rated at 800 pounds capacity and features a truss perimeter that adds structural rigidity while allowing light, airflow, and sprinkler penetration. The included bins are molded from FDA-approved polypropylene with a hopper front opening for quick access and visual identification of contents.
This shelving system is suited for light commercial, retail, and industrial environments where organized bin storage is needed. The 4-inch-high black plastic bins include slotted label holders for content labeling and nest together when empty to reduce storage footprint. The open chrome wire design limits dust accumulation on shelving surfaces. Optional caster kits are available separately for facilities requiring mobile shelving configurations. This unit ships as a complete kit: frame, shelves, and bins included.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and direct fit within the Quantum Storage Systems chrome wire shelving line. Optional caster kits sold separately are compatible with this unit for mobile applications.
Assembly typically requires no tools beyond a rubber mallet for seating shelf clips onto the upright posts. Ensure the unit is placed on a level surface and verify post-to-shelf engagement at all four corners before loading. When adding optional casters, confirm the caster kit weight rating meets or exceeds the intended load. Loaded shelving units should be secured to a wall or anchored per local building or warehouse safety codes where tip-over risk exists.
