The PulseAudio PAEXARC1 is an ARC Digital Audio Extender that facilitates the routing of digital audio from a display to a remote location or amplifier using a single Cat5e/6 cable for distances up to four hundred ninety-two feet (one hundred fifty meters). It features an “ARC Backup Plan” which allows audio extension via SPDIF for displays not equipped with ARC capability or when ARC settings are malfunctioning.
