The ZrN (zirconium nitride) PVD coating improves surface hardness and wear resistance without adding significant heat. With three flutes, a variable helix, and a coarse pitch, this tool is optimized for roughing passes. It is a single-end, right-hand cutting tool intended for use in compatible straight-shank toolholders.
