The PROMAX 155-06414 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. It features a 1 inch cutting diameter, a 1-3/4 inch length of cut, and a 4 inch overall length with a 1 inch square shank. The four-flute spiral design with a 35-degree helix angle provides efficient chip evacuation and a stable cut. An AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) coating improves heat resistance and extends tool life in demanding ferrous and hardened material applications. This tool is intended for use by machinists and CNC operators working on vertical or horizontal milling machines.

The 155-06414 is suited for profiling, slotting, and peripheral milling in production and job shop environments. The right-hand cut with right-hand flute configuration is standard for conventional and climb milling on CNC machining centers and manual knee mills. The micrograin carbide substrate provides rigidity and wear resistance at higher surface footage. Note that this end mill is not center-cutting and is not designed for plunge entry. It is a regular-length tool in the PROMAX Series 155 line.
