The PROMAX 119-01624 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for roughing and finishing operations in a single tool. It features a 1/4 inch cutting diameter with a 0.02 inch corner radius and three flutes arranged in a right-hand cutting direction. The 40-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and reduced cutting forces. An AlTiN coating provides thermal resistance and extended tool life in ferrous and hardened materials. This end mill is center-cutting, allowing plunge entry, and is built from micrograin carbide for rigidity at high feeds and speeds.

This end mill is suited for milling slots, pockets, and contoured profiles in ferrous metals, stainless steel, and hardened alloys on CNC machining centers and manual mills. The corner radius geometry reduces stress concentration at the cutting edge, making it appropriate for finishing passes where a sharp inside corner is not required. The single-end, straight-cylindrical shank fits standard 1/4 inch collets and end mill holders.

Installation Notes

Do not exceed the tool's rated depth of cut or feed rate for the workpiece material.
