The PRO1 IAQ T855 is a universal programmable digital thermostat designed for residential and light commercial HVAC systems requiring flexible heating and cooling control. It supports up to 2 heat / 2 cool conventional system configurations or up to 3 heat / 2 cool heat pump configurations, making it adaptable across a wide range of single-stage and multi-stage equipment. The T855 features a backlit display covering approximately 8 square inches and a glow-in-the-dark navigation button for low-light service calls. Licensed HVAC technicians and experienced installers handle this device during system commissioning or thermostat replacement.
The T855 is suitable for residential forced-air systems and light commercial applications where a versatile programmable thermostat is required. Its scheduling flexibility supports 7-day, 5-1-1, or non-programmable operation modes, allowing installers to configure it to match occupancy patterns or owner preferences. It is appropriate for gas furnace, electric heat, heat pump, and conventional split-system applications. No additional equipment is required beyond standard low-voltage thermostat wiring common to most residential installations.
Designed as a universal programmable replacement thermostat for conventional single-stage and multi-stage HVAC systems, including gas furnace, electric heat, and heat pump configurations supporting up to 2 heat / 2 cool conventional or 3 heat / 2 cool heat pump wiring.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician in accordance with applicable local codes. Always disconnect power to the air handler or furnace at the breaker and set the system switch to off before removing the existing thermostat or making any low-voltage wiring connections. Verify the existing wiring configuration matches the T855 terminal assignments before powering the system back on. Mount the thermostat on an interior wall away from direct sunlight, supply air drafts, and heat-producing appliances to ensure accurate temperature sensing.
