The PRO-SOURCE UMF-03NL is an intermediate-grade coalescing filter designed to remove fine aerosols, oil mist, and sub-micron particulates from compressed air lines. Rated at 0.1 micron, it targets contaminants that standard particulate filters leave behind, protecting downstream pneumatic tools, valves, and instrumentation. The 3/8 inch port accommodates common compressed air distribution piping. A polycarbonate bowl with nylon bowl guard allows visual inspection of collected liquids while providing impact resistance in shop and light industrial environments. A semi-automatic drain removes accumulated liquid without requiring manual intervention during normal operation. Compressed air system technicians and pipefitters install this filter as part of a point-of-use or zone filtration assembly.
The UMF-03NL suits residential and light commercial compressed air systems where clean, dry air is critical. Typical applications include pneumatic control systems, spray finishing lines, and air-operated equipment requiring low contamination levels. The intermediate filter classification means this unit is commonly staged after a general-purpose particulate filter and before a high-efficiency or activated-carbon stage. Its compact footprint — 3.15 inches in length, 2.52 inches in width, and 8.44 inches in height — fits standard filter-regulator-lubricator (FRL) mounting arrangements on equipment panels or wall brackets.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct installation coalescing filter for compressed air systems using 3/8 inch ported FRL components and point-of-use filtration assemblies requiring intermediate-grade, 0.1 micron coalescent filtration.
Installation is performed by qualified pipefitters or compressed air system technicians. Depressurize and lock out the compressed air supply before installing or servicing the filter. Verify that system operating pressure and temperature do not exceed the filter's rated limits before returning the line to service. Consult applicable OSHA compressed air safety standards and local mechanical codes for piping and filtration requirements.
