The PRO-SOURCE UMF-02N is an intermediate-grade coalescing filter designed to remove oil aerosols, water, and fine particulate contamination from compressed air lines. With a 0.01 micron rating, it targets sub-micron oil mist and moisture that standard particulate filters leave behind. The polycarbonate bowl with nylon bowl guard provides a clear view of collected liquid without sacrificing durability. A semi-automatic drain removes accumulated condensate without full manual intervention, reducing maintenance time in active service environments. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and industrial service professionals install this type of filter as part of a multi-stage air preparation assembly ahead of sensitive pneumatic tools, instruments, or control equipment.
The UMF-02N is suited for compressed air systems in light industrial, commercial mechanical, and trade service applications where clean, dry air is required. The 1/4 inch port size targets smaller flow applications such as point-of-use instrument air, pneumatic control circuits, or shop air drops serving precision equipment. Maximum operating temperature is 140 degrees F, making it appropriate for typical indoor compressed air service conditions. It ships as a single unit and is ready for direct installation into an existing air preparation train.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-install intermediate coalescing filter for compressed air preparation systems with 1/4 inch ported connections.
Depressurize and lock out the compressed air supply before installing or servicing this filter. Follow applicable OSHA and local compressed air system codes when working on pressurized lines. Install in the correct flow direction as indicated on the filter body, and position the bowl downward to allow proper condensate collection and drain operation. Inspect the bowl and drain periodically for contamination buildup and service per the system maintenance schedule.
