The PRO-SOURCE UF-02NAL is an intermediate compressed air filter designed to remove particulate contamination from compressed air lines in pneumatic systems. Rated at 5 microns, it captures fine particles that can damage downstream tools, valves, and actuators. The filter flows up to 86.16 standard cubic feet per minute (SCFM), making it suitable for moderate-to-high-demand pneumatic circuits. The aluminum bowl and polyethylene filter media provide a balance of durability and chemical resistance. A built-in semi-automatic drain simplifies maintenance by purging collected moisture and debris without fully shutting down the line. This filter is installed by industrial maintenance technicians, pipefitters, and HVAC-mechanical contractors working on compressed air distribution systems.
The UF-02NAL is suited for use in light industrial and commercial compressed air systems where intermediate-grade filtration is required ahead of sensitive pneumatic equipment. It is typically positioned downstream of a compressor and dryer, before regulators, lubricators, or precision pneumatic devices. The 1/4 in NPT port size fits common small-bore compressed air distribution lines. The modular connection design allows it to be combined with other filter-regulator-lubricator (FRL) components in a manifold-style installation. The included sight glass allows quick visual inspection of bowl contents without disassembly.
Designed as an OEM-style intermediate compressed air filter for use in compressed air distribution systems with 1/4 in NPT ported connections and flow requirements up to 86.16 SCFM.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pipefitter, industrial maintenance technician, or HVAC-mechanical contractor familiar with compressed air system safety practices. Depressurize and lock out the compressed air supply before installing or servicing this filter. Ensure flow direction matches the arrow or markings on the filter body. Follow applicable OSHA and local compressed air piping codes when integrating into an existing distribution system.
