The PRO-SOURCE RT-200-LHD-IB-PRO is a standard-duty nylon cable tie designed for bundling, routing, and securing wire harnesses, hoses, and cables in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general mechanical applications. Measuring 8 inches in overall length with a 0.30-inch width, this tie delivers 50 lb tensile strength to hold bundles firmly under typical service conditions. The black nylon construction resists UV exposure and suits both indoor and outdoor installations. The self-locking head allows quick one-hand cinching without additional tools. Meets MIL-SPEC M20693B and carries UL Certification, making it appropriate for use in listed assemblies and service work where certified fastening materials are required.
This cable tie is suited for residential and light commercial service work across multiple trades. Electricians use standard ties for wire management in panels, junction boxes, and conduit runs. HVAC technicians rely on them for securing low-voltage control wiring, refrigerant line insulation, and drain line routing. Plumbers and general contractors also use them for bundling tubing, strapping flexible pipe, and organizing equipment connections during rough-in and finish work. The black color makes them a common choice when a clean, uniform appearance is needed in visible installations.
Designed as a standard OEM-style replacement and general-use cable tie compatible with any application requiring an 8-inch nylon tie with a 50 lb tensile strength rating.
Installation requires no special tools — a standard cable tie gun or manual cinching is sufficient for most applications. Always de-energize circuits before securing wiring harnesses in electrical panels or control enclosures, following applicable NEC requirements. Avoid overtightening around insulated conductors, as excessive clamping force can damage wire jacket insulation. Trim the tail flush with the locking head using flush-cut side cutters to prevent sharp edges in finished work.
