Pro-source PS-AZB0040 Outdoor Extension Cord 100 Ft 15A

Product Description

The PRO-SOURCE PS-AZB0040 is a 100-foot, 12 AWG, 3-conductor outdoor extension cord rated at 15 amps. Built to SJTW jacket specifications, it resists moisture, oil, and abrasion, making it suitable for job sites and outdoor service work. The cord terminates in a single NEMA 5-15P plug configuration and meets UL Listed and OSHA specifications. At 15 pounds, the cord is heavy enough for sustained current loads while remaining manageable for a single technician. It is a standard-duty workhorse for electricians, HVAC techs, and contractors who need reliable power delivery at distance.

This extension cord is designed for outdoor use where temporary power runs are required. Typical applications include residential and light commercial job sites, outdoor HVAC equipment service, pool and irrigation equipment hookups, and general contractor work. The blue and red jacket color coding helps with cord identification on busy job sites. The 100-foot length covers common span requirements without the voltage drop risk associated with undersized gauge wire at extended runs.

Installation Notes

Extension cords of this type are typically deployed by electricians, HVAC technicians, and general contractors for temporary power runs in accordance with NEC guidelines on temporary wiring. Inspect the cord for jacket damage before each use and do not exceed the 15-amp rating. Never run this cord under rugs, through walls, or in concealed spaces, as it is rated for temporary outdoor use only. Coil the cord loosely during storage to prevent insulation stress and connector damage.
