The PRO-SOURCE PRO18324 is a synthetic media bag air filter rated MERV 13, designed for commercial and industrial air handling systems that require high-efficiency particulate capture. The unit measures 24 inches high by 24 inches wide by 22 inches deep (nominal) with actual dimensions of 23.375 inches high by 23.375 inches wide by 22 inches deep. Eight filter pockets maximize media surface area, supporting airflow up to 2000 CFM at a maximum face velocity of 500 FPM. The galvanized steel integrated frame provides rigidity during installation and operation. Particle capture efficiency runs 80 to 85 percent. This filter is installed by HVAC technicians and mechanical contractors servicing commercial air handling units, rooftop units, and large fan coil systems.
The PRO18324 is suited for commercial HVAC applications where code or design calls for MERV 13 filtration, including office buildings, healthcare facilities, schools, and light industrial environments. The synthetic media handles supply or return air streams up to 150 degrees F, making it appropriate for standard commercial AHU and RTU installations. The 8-pocket configuration allows high dust-holding capacity, extending service intervals compared to flat-panel alternatives. Mechanical contractors and facility maintenance teams use this filter as a direct drop-in for systems with a 24 by 24 inch filter bank opening and nominal 22-inch depth.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement bag filter for commercial air handling units with a 24 by 24 inch filter opening and a nominal 22-inch deep filter bank.
Installation should be performed by a qualified HVAC technician or mechanical contractor. Power down and lock out the air handling unit before removing the old filter or installing the new one. Confirm airflow direction markings on the frame align with system airflow before seating the filter. Dispose of spent filters in accordance with local waste handling requirements, particularly in healthcare or industrial environments where captured particulate may be hazardous.
