Product Description

The PRO-SOURCE PRO10448 is a wire-backed pleated air filter rated MERV 10 with 55% particle capture efficiency, designed for residential and light commercial HVAC systems. Built with a synthetic media and a rigid paperboard frame, it captures mid-range airborne particulates including dust, pollen, mold spores, and pet dander. The wire backing supports the pleated media against airflow pressure, maintaining filter shape and consistent performance throughout the service cycle. Rated for airflow up to 1,300 CFM at a maximum face velocity of 300 feet per minute (FPM), it suits a wide range of forced-air applications. Maximum operating temperature is 200 degrees F.

This filter is suitable for any standard forced-air unit accepting a 20 x 25 x 1 inch nominal filter. Typical installations include residential gas furnaces, heat pumps, air handlers, and packaged rooftop units where improved filtration over MERV 8 is desired without significantly increasing static pressure. It meets ASHRAE 52.2-2012 and UL 900 standards, making it appropriate for applications where third-party filtration certification is required. Installation Notes
