Product Description

The PRO-SOURCE PRO10440 is a MERV 10 pleated air filter rated at 55% particle capture efficiency, designed for forced-air HVAC systems in residential and light commercial applications. The filter measures 12 x 25 x 1 inches nominal (11-1/2 x 24-1/2 x 3/4 inches actual) and uses a wire-backed synthetic pleated media bonded to a paperboard frame. The wire backing supports pleat geometry under airflow, maintaining consistent face velocity up to 300 feet per minute (FPM) and a rated airflow of 775 CFM. Initial resistance is 0.20 inches water gauge at 300 FPM, with a final resistance of 1.0 inch water gauge. The filter is rated for continuous service up to 200 degrees F and meets ASHRAE 52.2-2012 and UL 900 standards.

The PRO10440 is suited for standard 1-inch filter applications in residential gas furnaces, air handlers, rooftop units, and split-system air conditioners. The MERV 10 rating makes it appropriate for applications requiring capture of fine dust, pollen, mold spores, and fine particulate matter beyond what lower-rated fiberglass or MERV 8 filters provide.
