The PRO-SOURCE PRO10423 is a wire-backed pleated air filter rated MERV 8 with 35% particle capture efficiency. It measures 8 x 30 x 1 inches nominal (actual dimensions: 7-1/2 x 30-1/8 x 3/4 inches) and is built with a synthetic filter media bonded to a wire backing for structural support. The paperboard frame holds its shape under normal system static pressure. Rated for airflow up to 500 CFM at a maximum face velocity of 300 feet per minute, this filter handles standard residential and light commercial air handler applications. HVAC technicians and service pros install it as a routine maintenance filter in forced-air systems.

This filter is suited for residential and light commercial forced-air HVAC systems where MERV 8 filtration is specified. At MERV 8, it captures dust mite debris, mold spores, pet dander, and fine dust while maintaining low enough resistance to keep system airflow in range. The initial resistance is 0.14 inches water gauge at 300 FPM, with a final resistance of 1.0 inch water gauge.
