The PRO-SOURCE PC71-DOTS-42 is a brass tee run swivel fitting designed for push-to-connect and male NPT threaded connections in compressed air, pneumatic, and general-purpose fluid systems. It accepts tubing with a 1/4 inch outside diameter on the push-to-connect ports and uses a standard NPT male thread on the swivel branch. The brass construction provides corrosion resistance and durability in moderate-pressure service environments. This fitting meets DOT standards, making it suitable for regulated pneumatic and fluid line applications. Plumbers, pipefitters, and HVAC technicians install this type of fitting when a branch connection is needed without special tooling.
This tee run swivel fitting is used in residential and light commercial installations where push-to-connect tubing meets a threaded port on a valve, manifold, or component. The swivel feature allows the NPT branch to rotate during installation, reducing stress on connected tubing and simplifying alignment in tight spaces. General-purpose applications include compressed air distribution, pneumatic control lines, and fluid transfer systems. It is sold individually and is well suited for service repairs or new installations requiring a reliable inline branch point.
Designed for general-purpose use with 1/4 inch OD tubing in push-to-connect pneumatic and fluid systems requiring a male NPT swivel branch connection.
A licensed pipefitter or qualified technician should depressurize and bleed down the system completely before removing or installing fittings. Verify that the tubing OD matches the fitting rating and that the tube end is cut square and deburred before insertion into the push-to-connect port. Apply thread sealant to the male NPT threads per the system fluid service requirements and applicable codes. Do not overtighten the NPT connection or exceed the rated working pressure of the fitting and connected tubing.
