The PRO-SOURCE PC69-DOTS-88 is a brass push-to-connect tube fitting with a male NPT (MNPT) threaded end. It accepts tubing with a 1/2 inch outside diameter on the push-to-connect side and threads directly into a female NPT port on the other. The brass construction provides corrosion resistance and durability in a wide range of fluid and pneumatic service conditions. This fitting meets DOT standards, making it suitable for regulated compressed-air and fluid-line applications. Installation requires no ferrules, sleeves, or special tools on the push-to-connect end, which reduces assembly time in the field. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pipefitters are the typical installers for this type of fitting.
This fitting is designed for general-purpose use across residential and light commercial applications including compressed air lines, pneumatic control systems, and fluid transfer plumbing. The push-to-connect end accepts 1/2 inch OD tubing, while the male NPT thread connects to standard NPT-threaded ports, valves, manifolds, or equipment bodies. It is sold individually and is well suited for service work, panel builds, and system retrofits where a quick, reliable connection is needed between hard tubing and a threaded port.
Designed as a general-purpose push-to-connect to male NPT adapter for use with 1/2 inch OD tubing in compressed air, pneumatic, and fluid plumbing systems that require DOT-compliant fittings.
Depressurize and isolate the line before removing any existing fitting or connecting this fitting into a live system. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the male NPT threads in accordance with the IPC or applicable local plumbing code before threading into the receiving port. Insert tubing fully into the push-to-connect end until it seats against the internal stop; to release, depress the collet ring while withdrawing the tube. This fitting should be installed by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or qualified HVAC technician where required by local code.
